Holly Hills:

  • The Stellar Hog: [Patio Only] – Features a large, welcoming patio for you and your pup. They suggest keeping your dog on a leash and bringing a bowl, and are welcoming to well-behaved dogs. Known for its BBQ, the restaurant is frequently described as a great spot for both kids and dogs.

  • Rockwell Beer Garden (Francis Park): [Patio Only] – A dog-friendly brewery serving locals and visitors to St. Louis, MO. Fido is welcome to accompany you for a fresh pour beside an umbrella-shaded picnic table on the outside patio.

  • Perennial Artisan Ales: [Inside & Out] – (Great for when it rains!) – Craft beers brewed on-site, hickory-smoked BBQ, elevated pub food, and specialty coffee. Atmosphere: Relaxed, family-friendly. They allow well-managed dogs on the patio and have a covered portion that is heated, where they have water bowls for your pup.

Soulard:

  • iTap (International Tap House): [Inside & Out] – (Dogs allowed inside since they don’t serve food) – Very dog-friendly, welcoming pets on their spacious outdoor patio where water bowls are often provided. The Soulard location is well-known for allowing dogs, and it is a popular spot in St. Louis for patrons to bring their pups while enjoying a large selection of beer.

  • Hammerstone’s: [Patio Only] – Very dog-friendly, specifically on their large, heated outdoor patio. Staff are known to be welcoming to dogs, often providing water bowls and treats. While dogs are not allowed inside, the lively, music-filled patio is a popular spot for pets and their owners.

  • 1860’s Saloon: [Patio Only] – It is a popular spot in the Soulard neighborhood with a casual atmosphere that welcomes well-behaved dogs with their owners on its patio.

  • McGurk’s: [Patio Only] – Well-behaved pets are allowed in the outdoor garden area. A lively Irish pub known for its festive atmosphere, live music, and authentic Irish cuisine.

  • Molly’s: [Patio Only] – (Note: Usually only until 8:00 PM) – They host “Yappy Hours” with drink and treat specials just for dogs.

  • The Doghaus: A casual sports bar with a built-in dog park. They actually have a “Puppy Menu,” so your dog can eat while you watch the game.

The Grove:

  • Urban Chestnut (UCBC): [Inside & Out] – (Huge hall allows dogs inside) – A massive outdoor German-style biergarten. 20% of sales on specific “Dog Days” often go to local animal non-profits.

  • Bar K: [Inside & Out] – (Purpose-built for dogs everywhere) – A 2-acre professional dog park, bar, and restaurant. They have “Dog Rangers” on staff to keep you and your dog safe while you eat.

  • The Gramophone: [Patio Only] – Offering a designated dog-friendly patio located out back. This sandwich pub and music venue permits pets, allowing owners to enjoy their food and drinks with their dogs in this outdoor area.

Full Disclosure:

If you plan on heading inside, it’s a smart move to keep a digital or paper copy of your vaccination records (Rabies, Distemper, Bordetella) with you, and a leash. Many indoor venues require these for entry to keep all the pups safe.
